| Valencia is the third largest city in Spain and a great place for holidays. Because of Barcelona and Madrid, Valencia is often ignored by the tourist but still it has lots of things to attract tourists like a wealth of baroque architecture, fine museums and of course good cuisine. |

How to reach Valencia?
One can easily come to Valencia by Iberia Airlines flights from major cities like Barcelona, Madrid and Málaga. In case if there is no flight then you may reach Valencia by train or bus. There is a large network of trains from almost every important city to Valencia.
Tourist Attractions in Valencia
People visit Valencia to see the great cathedrals and museums. Also it is always worthful to go and watch bullfighting. Although soccer is getting more popularity than Bullfighting, it is still good to go and see Valencia’s Plaza de Toros, which is one of the largest rings in Spain.
Catedral (Seu) This cathedral is of great historic importance. It is said that Holy Grail was kept here for 500 years. This monument shows the styles of different cultures including Romanesque, baroque and Gothic.

Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias (City of the Arts and Sciences) This large 36-hectare site is the largest urban complex in Europe for cultural, educational, and leisure expansion. This can be compared with Seville’s Expo and Barcelona’s redeveloped port. This landscaped park of lush greenery and peaceful lagoons has its goal to make learning fun. There are four state-of-art education buildings:
- L'Hemisferic
- Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe
- L'Oceanografic
- Palacio de las Artes
Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno (IVAM) This is the art centre of Valencia, it is a giant complex consists of two sites: an ultramodern building and a 13th-century former convent.
Museo de Bellas Artes This treasure house mainly contains a collection of Flemish
and native Valencian art of 14th- and 15th-century. These paintings and sculptures are great examples of Valencian “primitives”
Palacio de Marqués de Dos Aguas This palace contains the grandest collections of ceramics in Spain. The beautiful creatures of this palce contain the statues of lizards on plates to frogs riding the backs of lambs.
